1.Extract the boot sector from the orginal CD using e.g. IsoBuster.
Tip
IsoBuster-> select BottableCD, and extract the Microsoft Corporation.img
2.Move the CD content onto harddrive e.g.
C:\w2k3\cd
3.Download:
- Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (WindowsServer2003-KB889101-SP1-x86-ENU.exe)
- Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 32-bit Deployment Tools (WindowsServer2003-KB892778-SP1-DeployTools-x86-ENU.cab)
- Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 32-bit Support Tools (WindowsServer2003-KB892777-SupportTools-x86-ENU.exe)
4.Update the support tools
support.exe /c /t:C:\w2k3\cd\SUPPORT\TOOLS
5.Update the deployment tools
Tip
rename the downloaded deployment-tools.cab to DEPLOY.CAB and move it to the C:\w2k3\cd\SUPPORT\TOOLS folder
6.Extract the service pack data
service-pack.exe /x
7.goto the extracted service pack data to "i386/update" subfolder.
update.exe /integrate:C\w2k3\cd
8.Burn the data. e.g with NERO
Tip
CD-ROM(Boot) -> Boot tab/Image File
Enable Expert Settings -> No Emulation/Load segment:07C0/Number of sectors:4
